The joke starts
here.
The Mandarin song title “死了都要爱” roughly means “I will love you to the end.” This wordplay swaps AI for SI, short for Super Intelligence.
Executive Order 14434, dated September 29, 2026, directs U.S. executive departments and agencies, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to use “Super Intelligence” and “SI” instead of “Artificial Intelligence” and “AI” in official correspondence, public communications, websites, reports, policy documents, and other non-statutory executive-branch documents.
This terminology policy applies to the U.S. executive branch; it does not rename the technology worldwide or the whole industry. The order does not require changing previously issued regulations, presidential actions, contracts, grants, or historical documents.
